InPACT 2019<\/span>\u00a0will take place in <\/span>Zagreb<\/b>, the capital of the Republic of Croatia,\u00a0a\u00a0vibrant and cultural city.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Besides being a major commercial and financial centre, Zagreb is also developing into a famed tourist destination in Croatia. The city attracts many tourists who come to explore its historical monuments, museums, and\u00a0art galleries. People in Zagreb have a rich, artistic life including music, theatre and dance. From a youngster’s point of view, the city offers a happening nightlife, plenty of restaurants and cafes, and lots of\u00a0cinema\u00a0theatres.<\/p>\n

Today, it is the only city in Croatia with a population of over one million. Yet, as the city advances into the new millennium, it has retained its old charisma and welcoming attitude towards foreign visitors.<\/p>\n

Zagreb is divided into three parts: the thousand-year old Gornji grad (Upper Town) which contains the Presidential Palace, the iconic St Mark\u2019s Church, the Croatian parliament (Sabor), and museums and galleries which are all set in cobbled streets lit by gas lamps; the 19th century Donji grad (Lower Town) with its shops, restaurants, cafes, theatres and parks; and the modern post-World War II area of Novi Zagreb (\u2018new Zagreb\u2019) which is full of high-rise buildings and basically has little to offer visitors.<\/p>\n

Zagreb is also called a city of museums as there are more of them per square foot than any other city in the world. But this doesn\u2019t mean that there is nothing else for you to do if you aren\u2019t a history buff. One of the many pleasures that the Zagrebcani (the locals) enjoy is sitting in one of the numerous cafes watching the world go by. In the evening, you can visit one of the many restaurants, sampling a delicious Croatian dish, and finish the day in the one of the bars or clubs. Whatever you choose to do, you are guaranteed to have a good time!<\/p>\n

Like all other European cities, Zagreb also has a unique culture which tourists love to explore. The Croatian culture has its own distinct flavour which comes from its rich\u00a0historical\u00a0background and\u00a0geographical conditions. The country has been influenced by many cultures and it is quite evident from the monuments and historical relics.<\/p>\n

The city is filled with museums and art galleries which can keep the artistically inclined happily engrossed, while those who love to be outdoors can enjoy the parks and wildlife areas with which the region is blessed.<\/p>\n

Lonely Planet, the world\u2019s largest travel guide publisher, has revealed its\u00a0Best in Europe 2017<\/a>\u00a0and the Croatian capital has come out on top.\u00a0The prestigious global travel company released its top picks for the most exciting European destinations to visit in 2017 today with Zagreb ranked No.1 in Europe.<\/p>\n
