Here you can find the details for all types of submissions and how to submit your abstract.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Before submitting your proposal, please check the guidelines below and the information in the Call for Abstracts<\/a>, and read our Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement<\/a> carefully.<\/p>\n

TYPES OF SUBMISSIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Oral Presentations<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
\n

This submission type can include:
– Accomplished empirical or theoretical research with corresponding results or reports;
– or New developments in the given themes, employing qualitative or quantitative methods of either primary or secondary data.<\/p>\n

Keep in mind that if your abstract gets selected for publication, you will be asked for a final complete paper (limited to 5 pages long).<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Proposals for Oral papers must include (Abstract Template<\/strong>:\u00a0download here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>):
– Title <\/strong>(max. 15 words);
– Abstract main text<\/strong> (max. 400 words);
– Keywords<\/strong> (max. 5)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Posters<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
\n

This submission type is an alternative format for freestanding research presenters. Poster sessions facilitate informal discussion and can be a more personal form for the exchange of information.<\/p>\n

A poster\/demonstration must:
– Contain implemented information work about a subject;
– Be informative but also engaged visually and easy to understand.<\/p>\n

Initially, this submission type must include an abstract. Keep in mind that if your abstract gets selected for publication, you will be asked for a final complete paper (limited to 3 pages long)<\/strong>, besides the poster\/demonstration itself.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Proposals for Posters must include (Abstract Template<\/strong>:\u00a0download here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>):
– Title <\/strong>(max. 15 words);
– Abstract main text<\/strong> (max. 400 words);
– Keywords<\/strong> (max. 5)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Virtual Presentations<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
\n

This submission type gives the opportunity for those who cannot be at the conference meeting physically, but wish to participate, showcasing their work through different media. The conference will provide a link with virtual content that will be sent by email to all participants. All Virtual Presentation files will be uploaded by us onto a webpage with the respective details so that all the conference participants can have access to them during and after the conference.<\/p>\n

This submission type can include:
– Accomplished empirical or theoretical research with corresponding results or reports;
– or New developments in the given themes, employing qualitative or quantitative methods of either primary or secondary data.<\/p>\n

Virtual Presenters must also be registered for the conference, their papers are considered to be published as the others and are also entitled to a certificate of participation in the conference.
Initially, this submission type must include an abstract. Keep in mind that if your abstract gets selected for publication, you will be asked for a final complete paper (limited to 5 pages long)<\/strong>, besides the Virtual Presentation itself.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Workshops<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
\n

This submission type provides an opportunity for a group of participants to achieve a specific goal or address a particular problem.
It can be designed to:
– Train or educate participants in a particular research methodology or theoretical approach;
– Address a specific problem, such as how to use particular research findings in health psychological care or policy;
– Develop a consensus on a particular issue (for example, the goal of the workshop may be to produce a position statement or policy on a particular topic, to identify priorities in a specific area, or to develop theoretical perspectives or methodologies).<\/p>\n

Initially, this submission type must include an abstract.\u00a0 Keep in mind that if your abstract gets selected for publication, you will be asked for a final complete paper (limited to 3 pages long).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Important Note:<\/strong><\/span> In the initial submission, the description of\u00a0the methodology used for the workshop has to be very clear<\/strong>, so that we can easily identify if it is really a Workshop or a mere lecture.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Proposals for Workshops must include (Abstract Template<\/strong>:\u00a0download here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>):
– Title <\/strong>(max. 15 words);
– Abstract main text<\/strong> (max.\u00a0250\u00a0words)\u00a0with the following:
\u00a0\u00a0 1. Purpose<\/em> (statement of the problem or goal to be addressed);
\u00a0\u00a0 2. Background<\/em> (concise summary placing session in context, aims of the workshop, and expected outcomes for participants);
\u00a0\u00a0 3. Key points<\/em>\u00a0(details of key arguments or the skills and activities covered);
\u00a0\u00a0 4. Procedure \/ Methodology\u00a0<\/em>(description of how the session will be conducted);
\u00a0\u00a0 5. Description of the participants<\/em> (describe the intended participants and their maximum number for the\u00a0workshop).;
– Keywords<\/strong> (max. 5)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Company Presentations<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
This type of contribution allows Companies to present recent developments and applications, inform a large and qualified audience of new outcomes, and showcase the company’s products and services.
There will be a time slot for companies to make their presentations in a room. These presentations offer companies the opportunity to display their latest offerings of hardware, software, tools, services, and books. HOW TO SUBMIT ONLINE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Abstracts must be submitted through our step-by-step\u00a0E<\/strong>lectronic <\/strong>Submis<\/strong>s<\/strong>ion <\/strong>System ( submissions are now closed)<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span>We do not accept the submission of Abstracts by email.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 1 – Author(s) Information<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fill the “Author Information” box by order of representation.
The information of each author must be complete, these are the contacts that will be used to communicate with the authors.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT NOTES<\/strong>:<\/span>
– In the initial submission phase, we only accept abstracts<\/strong>, not complete papers or posters.\u00a0
<\/span><\/span>– This is the ONLY<\/strong> place where you give your personal details – the Abstract file must be ANONYMOUS<\/strong> (i.e. remove name, institution, address, as well as any acknowledgements that may lead to information about the authors).<\/span><\/span>
– Please DO NOT<\/strong> use any Accent marks<\/strong> and\/or Diacritical marks<\/strong> in the submission form, since our online platform doesn’t recognize them.
– This conference has defined a maximum limit of 4 submissions per author<\/strong> (including co-authored proposals), but please note that one author registration only covers a maximum of 2 accepted presentations (Oral, Poster, Virtual), or one Workshop presentation. Submissions beyond this limit will not be considered.<\/p>\n

Step 2 – Paper Information<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type your abstract\/paper title in the first box and in the “Paper Abstract” box, paste your main text from your abstract paper file – this will guarantee the association of your contact details with your abstract, while the abstract file maintains anonymity for the refereeing procedure.
Then, upload your file in .doc, .rtf, or PDF formats only <\/strong>– no other formats will be accepted (like .ppt files, for example).
The file max. size is 5 Mb.<\/p>\n

In the “Track” boxes, select the topic areas you are submitting to:
1) Select one of the 5 main areas (A – CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY, B – EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY, C – SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY, D – LEGAL PSYCHOLOGY,\u00a0E – COGNITIVE AND EXPERIMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY, or F – PSYCHOANALYSIS AND PSYCHOANALYTICAL PSYCHOTHERAPY)
2) Select the sub-theme(s) corresponding to that main area.
3) Finally, select the “Presentation Type”: Oral Presentation, Poster\/Demonstration, Workshop, Virtual Presentation, or Company Presentation.<\/p>\n

Final Step<\/strong>\u00a0– Make sure the mandatory fields are covered and then click the\u00a0SUBMIT<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>button.<\/p>\n

Once you have submitted your abstract, you will receive an email confirming receipt (check your SPAM folder, just in case). If you don’t receive an email after 24 hours, please contact the conference secretariat at secretariat@inpact-psychologyconference.org<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n
